Description

The Working Group "Statistics for Cybersecurity" aims to promote the use of statistical techniques (statistics, signal and image processing, machine learning) in the field of cybersecurity.

The presentations are intended to initiate discussion and reflection between participants.

The only requirements are to be familiar with the themes of each Breton team and to be interactive with the audience.

Two main types of presentation:

  1. Technical presentations
  • Presentations by statisticians on the use of statistics in hostile environments (robust estimation, min-max, game theory) or on the safety and intrinsic robustness of statistical methods.
  • Presentations from cybersecurity experts describing the use of statistics in cybersecurity or the issues that can be addressed by statistics.
  1. Teams presentations
  • Short and very informal presentations such as "This is our team's vision on statistics and cybersecurity", "Our team knows how to do this" or "Our team needs to do this".
