Building and sustaining talent pools
Creach Labs puts its scientific outreach instruments — seminars and thematic semesters — at the service of recruiting institutions. On a given topic, a seminar can draw up a list of strong candidates, check their availability, keep in touch with them through regular invitations, and alert institutions to outstanding recruitment opportunities.
The informal moments around these meetings matter as much as the talks: they build relationships and give rise to collaborations.
Coordinating across institutions
The strategy working group holds a regular recruitment review. It aligns the timing and the nature of the available positions — research scientist, research director, associate professor, professor, chairs — with the talent pool actually available, and avoids opening positions in lean years.
A roadmap of scientific priorities gives researchers and institutions a shared view of the objectives.
Making the ecosystem visible
International outreach, building on the Creach Labs brand and on its seminars, showcases the vitality of cybersecurity research in Brittany and makes open positions known beyond France.
Strengthening attractiveness where needed
In the most competitive fields, a welcome package may supplement the terms offered by the recruiting institution, where those terms stand in the way of hiring an outstanding candidate.
